🛒 Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- ½ cup water
- 1 large head lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sliced black olives
- ½ cup diced red onion
- 1 cup canned corn, drained
- 1½ cups crushed nacho cheese tortilla chips (Doritos)
- ½ cup Catalina dressing or French dressing

- Sliced jalapeños
- Avocado slices
- Chopped cilantro
- Sour cream

Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water.Stir well and simmer for about 3–5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Set aside to cool slightly. -
Prepare the Salad Base
In a large bowl combine:- chopped lettuce
- diced tomatoes
- corn
- sliced olives
- diced red onion
- shredded cheddar cheese
Mix gently to combine.

Add the Beef
Add the slightly cooled taco-seasoned ground beef to the salad mixture and toss lightly. -
Add the Chips
Just before serving, add the crushed nacho cheese tortilla chips and gently mix so they remain crunchy. -
Add the Dressing
Drizzle Catalina or French dressing over the salad and toss everything together until evenly coated. -
Serve
Transfer to a serving bowl and add optional toppings such as jalapeños, avocado, cilantro, or sour cream if desired.
