Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts
- 1 can (14 ounces) cranberry sauce
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- ½ teaspoon black pepper

Prepare the Slow Cooker
Lightly grease the slow cooker or use a slow cooker liner for easier cleanup. -
Add the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker. -
Add the Sauce
Pour the canned cranberry sauce evenly over the chicken. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix and black pepper on top. -
Cook
Cover and cook on:
LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
The chicken will become very tender and the sauce will turn into a rich, sweet and savory glaze. -
Serve
Once fully cooked, spoon the cranberry sauce over the chicken before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
