Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker
    Place the chopped onion (and optional carrots or potatoes) at the bottom of the slow cooker to create a flavorful base.
  2. Add the Beef
    Place the beef chuck roast on top of the vegetables.
  3. Season
    Sprinkle the brown gravy mix evenly over the roast so it coats the top.
  4. Add the Liquid
    Pour the beef broth around the sides of the roast.
