Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (or cream cheese)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (or dried herbs)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Beef
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    Spread raw ground beef evenly in a baking dish.
    Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Make Creamy Mixture
    In a bowl, mix:
    • Ricotta (or cream cheese)
    • Parmesan
    • Egg
    • Parsley
    Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Layer
    Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the beef layer.
  4. Bake
    Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until beef is fully cooked and the top is lightly golden.
  5. Serve
    Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve warm.
