Ingredients

  • 2–3 lb chuck roast
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Base
    Place chopped onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Add Beef
    Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
    Place it on top of the onions.
  3. Add Flavor
    Place the bouillon cubes under or around the roast.
    Pour in water.
  4. Cook
    • LOW: 8 hours
    • HIGH: 4–5 hours
  5. Serve
    Shred or slice the beef and serve with the rich gravy.
    Great over mashed potatoes, rice, or bread.

  • Add carrots and potatoes for a full one-pot meal
