Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough
  • ½ small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Optional:

  • Ketchup or mustard (for filling or dipping)
  • Sesame seeds (for topping)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Filling
    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
    Drain excess grease, then season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Prepare the Dough
    Flatten each piece of biscuit or pizza dough into a small circle.
  3. Fill
    Spoon a portion of the beef mixture into the center of each piece.
    Top with shredded cheese.
  4. Seal
    Fold the dough over the filling and pinch edges tightly to seal, forming pockets.
  5. Bake
    Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve
    Serve warm with:
    • Ketchup
    • Mustard
    • Pickles on the side
