Ingredients

  • 6 small to medium potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Optional:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes
    Wash the potatoes and prick them lightly with a fork.
    Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 40–45 minutes until tender.
  2. Stuff
    Let the potatoes cool slightly, then gently press or split them open to create a fluffy interior.
  3. Assemble
    Place the potatoes in a baking dish.
    Pour the heavy cream over them, then sprinkle generously with cheese.
    Season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder.
  4. Bake Again
    Return to the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Serve
