Ingredients

  • 4–6 chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dish
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    Place chicken in a baking dish and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Add Sauce
    Spread the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the chicken.
    Scatter mushrooms on top.
  3. Bake
    Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and slightly golden.
  4. Serve
    Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or bread to soak up the creamy sauce.
