Ingredients

For the Biscuits

  • 1 can (8-count) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 8 slices deli roast beef
  • 4 slices provolone cheese (cut in half)

For the Butter Topping

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

For the Au Jus

  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oven

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.

Step 2: Fill the Biscuits

  1. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands.
  2. Place one slice of roast beef and half a slice of provolone cheese in the center.
  3. Fold edges over filling and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.
  4. Place seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.

Step 3: Add the Butter Topping

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder.
  2. Brush tops generously with butter mixture.

Step 4: Bake

Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 5: Prepare the Au Jus

  1. Whisk au jus mix with 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened.

Step 6: Serve

Serve warm biscuits with a small bowl of au jus for dipping.
