This easy and flavorful recipe is perfect as an appetizer, party dish,

Ingredients
For the Meatballs
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or beef and pork mix)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
For the Honey Garlic Glaze
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water (for thickening)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Meatballs
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let soak for 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix gently until just combined.
- Form into evenly sized meatballs (about 1 tablespoon each) and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until fully cooked and browned.
2. Make the Honey Garlic Glaze
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (do not burn).
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and vinegar. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Mix cornstarch with water, then stir into the sauce.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until thick and glossy.
3. Coat the Meatballs
- Add baked meatballs to the saucepan.
- Toss gently until fully coated in glaze.
- Simmer together for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve over steamed white rice or fried rice
- Pair with noodles
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions
- Serve as a party appetizer with toothpicks
