Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the Steak: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak, bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Sauté for 4-5 minutes, until the steak is cooked and vegetables are soft. Set aside to cool.
- Mix Meatloaf: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add the sautéed steak and veggie mixture, then fold in the provolone cheese. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Form the Meatloaf: Transfer the mixture to your prepared baking dish. Form it into a loaf shape.
- Bake: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Serve: Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides such as mashed potatoes or a simple salad.
