Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 2 cups dry elbow macaroni
  • 1 jar (24 oz) tomato sauce or pasta sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth (or water + bouillon)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

Instructions

  1. Layer Ingredients
    Add raw ground beef to the slow cooker and break it up slightly.
    Pour dry macaroni over the top.
  2. Add Liquids
    Pour in tomato sauce and beef broth.
    Make sure most of the pasta is covered with liquid.
  3. Cook
    • LOW: 6–7 hours
    • HIGH: 3–4 hours
    Stir once or twice if possible to prevent sticking.
  4. Add Cheese
    During the last 15–20 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
    Cover until melted and creamy.
  5. Serve
    Stir everything together and serve hot—rich, cheesy, and incredibly satisfying!

Tips

  • Add diced onion or garlic for extra flavor
  • Spice it up with paprika or chili flakes
  • Swap beef for ground turkey if preferred
