Ingredients
- 2–3 lb chuck roast
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup water
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions

Prepare Base
Place chopped onions at the bottom of the slow cooker. -
Add Beef
Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
Place it on top of the onions. -
Add Flavor
Place the bouillon cubes under or around the roast.
Pour in water. -
Cook
- LOW: 8 hours
- HIGH: 4–5 hours

Serve
Shred or slice the beef and serve with the rich gravy.
Great over mashed potatoes, rice, or bread.
Tips
