Ingredients

  • 4 cube steaks
  • 3–4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 cups beef gravy (prepared or from mix)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer the Potatoes
    Lightly grease the slow cooker.
    Add sliced potatoes in an even layer at the bottom.
  2. Add Onion
    Scatter chopped onion over the potatoes.
  3. Add the Steaks
    Place cube steaks on top in a single layer.
  4. Season
    Sprinkle onion soup mix evenly over the meat.
  5. Add Gravy
    Pour the prepared beef gravy over everything.
  6. Cook
    Cover and cook:
    • LOW: 6–8 hours
    • HIGH: 3–4 hours
  7. Serve
    Serve hot with the rich gravy spooned over the steak and potatoes.
