Ingredients
- 4–6 cube steaks
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional additions:
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions

Prepare the Slow Cooker
Place the sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Arrange the cube steaks on top of the onions.
Season lightly with black pepper. -
Make the Gravy
In a bowl, whisk together the brown gravy mix and beef broth until smooth. -
Combine
Pour the gravy mixture evenly over the cube steaks.
Add garlic powder or Worcestershire sauce if desired. -
Cook
Cover and cook on:- LOW: 6–7 hours
- HIGH: 3–4 hours
Until the cube steaks become tender and the gravy thickens.
