Ingredients
- 1½–2 lbs beef, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup dark soy sauce
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ cup beef broth
Optional:
- 1 teaspoon ginger (fresh or powdered)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (for thickening)
- Green onions for garnish

Prepare the Beef
Place the sliced beef into the slow cooker.
Add diced onion and minced garlic on top. -
Add Sauce
Pour in:- Dark soy sauce
- Brown sugar
- Beef broth
- (Optional) ginger

Cover and cook:- LOW: 6–8 hours
- HIGH: 3–4 hours

Thicken (Optional)
If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 20–30 minutes. -
Serve
Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions if desired.
