This is that set-it-and-forget-it Sunday chicken—deep, rich glaze, ultra-juicy meat, and so tender it literally falls off the bone. The sauce gets thick, sticky, and absolutely irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 6–8 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on preferred)
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Optional:

  • 1 tablespoon honey (for extra glaze shine)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (adds depth)

Instructions

  1. Add Chicken
    Place chicken thighs into the slow cooker.
  2. Make the Glaze
    In a bowl, mix:
    • Soy sauce
    • Brown sugar
    • Garlic
    • (Optional) honey, pepper, ginger
  3. Cook
    Pour the sauce over the chicken.
    Cook:
    • LOW: 6–7 hours
    • HIGH: 3–4 hours
    Until the chicken is extremely tender.
  4. Thicken the Sauce (Optional but 🔥)
    Remove chicken and simmer the sauce on the stove for 5–10 minutes until thick and glossy.
    Pour back over the chicken.
  5. Serve
    Serve hot with sauce spooned over the top.
